* Avoid Excessive Sun Exposure: For at least 24-48 hours before your facial, avoid prolonged sun exposure or tanning. Sunburned skin can be more sensitive and may lead to irritation during your facial. Always apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) if you need to be outdoors. * Avoid Injectables minimum 2 weeks before treatment. * Avoid Harsh Exfoliants: For the best experience and results, refrain from using harsh exfoliating products (such as scrubs, retinoids, or glycolic acid) 3 days prior to your facial. Over-exfoliating can leave your skin sensitive, which may cause irritation during the treatment. * Notify Us of Skin Conditions or Concerns: If you have any specific skin conditions (such as cold sores, eczema, rosacea, or recent sunburn) or allergies to skincare ingredients, please inform us prior to your facial. This will allow us to customize the treatment to your skin’s needs and avoid any irritants.

Skin may feel sensitive, show signs of redness and feel warm. Avoid makeup for 24hrs. Avoid Abrasives And Exfoliating Agents for one week. No waxing for 2 weeks Avoid Sun/Tanning Booths After Wear Spf and a Hat. Avoid Sweaty And Strenuous Exercise For 24hrs - 48 hrs. Day 2: Resume normal skincare routine. Cleansing, Toning, Moisturizing, Sunscreen and Makeup. Always wear SPF. No Retin A, Retinols, Renova and other exfoliating agents for one week. Peeling usually begins 2-3 days after the chemical peel and can last for 3-7 days, depending on the depth of the peel and your skin type. You may not experience any peeling or you may experience light flaking or more noticeable peeling, this is normal, peeling is not an indicator of if a peel is effective or not.

After your chemical peel, avoid using active ingredients like retinoids, Vitamin C, and exfoliating acids for 5-7 days. Stick to Biophora Post Care Kit that contains gentle, hydrating products as your skin heals. Your practitioner will advise you on when to resume your normal skincare routine.

The results of a chemical peel can take 1-2 weeks to fully reveal themselves as the skin regenerates. Fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven skin tone will start to show improvement after the peeling process is complete. For more dramatic results, a series of peels may be recommended.

Depending on your skin concerns, a series of 3-6 chemical peels spaced 2-3 weeks apart are typically recommended for optimal results depending on your skin goals. Regular maintenance peels can be performed every 3 months to maintain your skin’s radiance and prevent signs of aging.
