Li-Ft Saline Tattoo Removal

Depending on the look you are wanting to achieve it may not be possible through a touch up or correcting appointment. Li-ft saline removal is a specialized, all natural saline solution that is implanted over your existing permanent makeup or small tattoo. Implanting the solution into the skin breaks up the healed pigment and begins to lift the pigment out of the skin by osmosis. The pigment is slowly pulled to the surface of the skin and heals into a scab. When the scab falls off, the pigment falls off with it, leaving a lightened tattoo. It also works on all colours vs laser has to be adjusted to different wavelengths and doesn't work on light pigments. Emergency removals can also be done within 24-48hrs of having a procedure done.

What Areas Can I Have Li-ft Done?

Li-ft can be done on all areas of the body as long as the area being removed is smaller than a deck of cards. I do recommend avoiding the ankles, feet or hands due to the constant motion, healing and aftercare.

How Does It Feel ?

There is some mild discomfort associated with the procedures. A topical anesthetic is used to numb the area. After the anesthetic has taken effect discomfort is very mild. Most Get a little nap in. A numbing agent may also be used during the process of the procedure, that will further numb during the process.

How Long Does It Take ?

Emergency Removals process is about 15 minutes. A regular Li-ft session is approx one hour.

How Many Sessions Will I Need?

How many sessions you require will depend on many different variables: -The pigment - does it contain Titanium/Carbon? - How many layers of pigment. -How deep was it implanted. -How saturated is the pigment (powdery, sheer, solid, opaque) -Where on the body are we removing? -Your skin if its Oily or Dry. - How your skin heals. -Following aftercare. -How much pigment you want removed. At your consultation we can let you know an approximate average of how many sessions it may take to get you to your desired results.

What To Expect After The Procedure

The area may be very red and swollen. Once scabs have come off the area may stay pink or discolored for several weeks. Some may experience a colour change or darkening as Li-ft brings the pigment up to the surface.
